Zenobia Patel

Zenobia Patel is the Financial Director of Keystone Project Recruitment (KPR).

After completing her matric in Azaadville, Gauteng in 2002, Zenobia completed a Secretarial Diploma in 2003. She joined KPR as a Secretary in September 2003.

In 2005 she was promoted to Payroll Administrator, a position she held until 2014, when she was promoted once again to Payroll Supervisor. Having proven her strong financial and administrative capabilities, Zenobia’s career advanced significantly from this point. She achieved rapid promotion to Accounts Manager in March 2014 and Financial Manager in June 2015. She earned her Junior Bookkeeping certification in 2017 and in February 2017, Zenobia was appointed as Financial Director of KPR. Zenobia achieved her ICB Financial Accounting Qualification in 2018.

During her time at KPR, she has also completed a host of courses in a wide range of subjects, from First-Aid to Payroll Tax, Skills Development and People Management. She is committed to furthering her studies and continually expanding her knowledge and skills. Zenobia is a highly efficient and driven professional who prides herself on getting the job done, no matter how challenging or complex.

She has accomplished her extraordinary rise through the ranks at KPR by drawing on her natural sense of tenacity, commitment and perseverance. Zenobia believes strongly that hard work always pays off and attributes much of her success to a strong work-ethic, personal integrity and innate determination, supported by a growth mindset. Zenobia is keenly aware of the fact that her experience in the workplace makes her uniquely able to coach and mentor her team.

She is actively involved in the nurturing and empowerment of her staff, especially young black women who show promise, but lack the skills and efficiency to advance themselves. By sharing her knowledge and personal experiences, she is able to empower her mentees in a highly personal and relatable way.

As a core member of the Executive Team at KPR, Zenobia was directly involved in the formulation and establishment of Keystone Female Youth Development Funding (KFYDF). This Non-Profit Company was created in order to provide young black females with a holistic and comprehensive body of training in professional, personal and life skills to enable their successful entry into the workforce.

Having worked her way from Secretary to Financial Director at the company, Zenobia represents the ideal role model for the young black women whom KFYDF wishes to identify, train and nurture into successful careers. A devoted wife and mother of two sons, Zenobia consciously balances the rigours and responsibilities of her dual roles of wife and mother and Financial Director. She hopes that her commitment to succeeding in both capacities will inspire her sons to achieve all that they are capable of in their own lives. Ensuring a healthy family life is extremely important to Zenobia.

Private time and weekends are spent together, whether playing at home or visiting the zoo or botanical gardens. She also loves cooking and entertaining at home. Her connection to family is very strong and Zenobia ensures that the extended family spend time together every weekend.
