Skills Development
KPR has identified a shortage of black females entering the engineering (mining, petrochemical and construction) industries, and recognising that much of the challenge lies in access to suitable education and training opportunities, KPR established Keystone Youth Academy NPC (KYA) in 2016.
Subsequently rebranded to Keystone Youth Academy (KYA), the B-BBEE Level 1 Not for Profit Company seeks to empower Black youth, principally female and disabled, to access skills and experience to enable their entrance into the engineering sector.
KPR fully supports KYA in its mission to empower youth, especially black females, towards market readiness by means of a comprehensive and balanced training and coaching programme, specifically designed to enable their successful entry into the industrial workforce.
Our clients can benefit too, in a range of ways including:
Access to suitably skilled and work ready PDI candidates
Access to industry-specific training and skills development services
Opportunity to sponsor individual students or contribute funding to KYA, maximising B-BBEE points through Skills Development Scorecard, ESD and CSI.
Through our subsidiary companies and skills partners, KPR also offers quality, industry-relevant training in the following areas:
National Qualification 66071 – Computer Aided Drawing Office Practice (NQF Level 4)
